Die Idee für ANIMO ESPAÑA entstand im Frühjahr 2013 angesichts der schweren Wirtschaftskrise in Spanien, die insbesondere den Süden Spaniens betrifft. Laut Statistik hält Andalusien einen traurigen Rekord: mit einer Arbeitslosenrate von 37% (Stand 2013) weist die Region nicht nur die höchste Arbeitslosenrate in Spanien, sondern auch innerhalb der EU-Zone auf. Das Konzept von ANIMO ESPAÑA beruht in erster Linie auf der Zusammenarbeit mit örtlichen Handwerksbetrieben, die seit Krisenbeginn einen starken Verkaufsrückgang verzeichnet haben. The idea for ANIMO ESPAÑA was born in spring 2013 in view of the severe economic crisis in Spain, which affects specially the South of the country.According to statistics, Andalusia holds a sad record: with an unemployment rate of 37% (2013) the region not only shows the highest rate in Spain but also leads the ranking within the European Union. The concept of ANIMO ESPAÑA is mainly based on the collaboration with small family-owned local companies, which have experienced a strong decline in their sales since the beginning of the economic crisis. We offer a wide range of handicraft from Andalusia. From high quality marquetry with inlaid wood, to Andalusian ceramics, exclusive items of embossed and handpainted leather, original pieces of metal-forging up to hand-made and hand-painted Andalusian tiles you can find a variety of beautifual items in order to bring Mediterranean flair into your home.
